Internships

Bringing an intern on board?

Interns bring immediate value to your organization though fresh ideas, updated technical skills and objective feedback. Additionally, there is no better means to create a buzz on campus about your organization than to have an intern brag to their friends about their experience with you. As an added bonus, professionals within your organization are able to develop real-time leadership and management skills by mentoring an intern.

Consult the Department of Labor's Fair Labor Standards Act (test for unpaid interns and students) and Essential Components page to ensure that your internship aligns with current practices supported by programs across our member colleges and by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).
